Try These Strategies If You Want to Create, Launch, and Sell Your E-Book in a Week

Yep, you read that right. One week. Let’s dive in!

Day 1: Brainstorm and Outline

Get Your Ideas Flowing

First things first, grab a cup of your favorite herbal tea, and let's get those creative juices flowing. What do you know that your community needs to hear? Are you a wellness coach with secret sauce tips? A spiritual guide with life-changing meditations? Jot down all your ideas. Just brain-dump all your ideas here, don’t overthink it. I want you to release control of trying to make these ideas sound “right”. We’ll get to that it in a bit.

Create a Solid Outline

Now, take those ideas and create a solid outline. Think of your e-book as a journey you're taking your readers on. Start with an introduction, then break down your content into clear, manageable sections. Your outline is your roadmap. Trust it.

A detailed outline helps you flesh out your ideas and ensures you don’t miss any important points. Here's what it should include:

  1. Introduction: Set the stage for your readers. Explain what the e-book is about and what they will gain from reading it.

  2. Main Sections: Break your content into major sections or chapters. Each section should cover a specific aspect of your topic.

  3. Subsections: Within each section, include subsections to dive deeper into specific points. This keeps your content organized and easy to follow.

  4. Conclusion: Wrap up your e-book with a summary of key points and a call to action. This call to action could lead them to book one of your services, learn about this topic further with more free content, book a consult call, whatever makes the most sense for them to connect with you further!

Day 2: Write Like You're Talking to Your Bestie

Be Authentic

Write like you're having a convo with your bestie. Be real, be you. No fluffy confusing language or BS. Just pure, unfiltered you. Your readers will appreciate your authenticity, authority and feel more connected to your message.

Keep It Structured

Stick to your outline. It’s your guide to keeping your writing on track and making sure you cover all the important points. Don't worry about perfection—just get those words down.

Day 3: Design That Sh*t

Make It Look Good

Now comes the fun part—design! Use Canva to make your e-book look as good as it reads. If you grabbed my Ultimate E-book/Workbook Canva Template, you're already ahead of the game. This template is fire, with a design that's sure to impress and help you to launch FASTER!

Add Visuals

People love visuals. Add images, charts, and graphics to break up the text and keep your readers engaged. Make sure everything aligns with your brand's vibe. Search for stock imagery that aligns well with your topic (I love Pexels for free imagery + Death to Stock for paid imagery) or if you’re extra like me lol, take your own images for the e-book! You don’t need a fancy DSLR, use that iPhone, Tezza. to edit (or whichever platform you dig the most) and add those images in!

Day 4: Edit and Polish

Read, Edit, Repeat

Editing is where the magic happens. Slowly read and fully digest through your e-book, fix any errors, and make sure it flows smoothly. This is also the time to cut out any unnecessary fluff.

Get Feedback

If you can, get a fresh set of eyes on your e-book. A friend, a colleague, or even a professional editor can provide valuable feedback.

Day 5: Set Up Your Sales Funnel

Create a Landing Page (I loveeee me some Squarespace)

Your e-book deserves the most JUICY AND STUNNING landing page (or sales page). You can create this within your own website, Stan Store, Shopify, Gumroad, whichever feels more in alignment for you. This is where you'll convert curious visitors into paying customers. Highlight the transformation and benefits of your e-book, include testimonials, and make sure your call-to-action (CTA) is crystal clear and engaging.

For example, if you have a Menstrual Cycle Nutrition Guide instead of “Buy the E-book” say something like "Transform Your Womb Health” you feeeeel me?!

Build an Email List

Start collecting email addresses ASAP. Offer a free chapter or a sneak peek of your e-book in exchange for email sign-ups. This way, you’ll have a list of potential buyers ready to go when you launch. If you already have your email list (YASSS) start teasing your launch at least 2 weeks in advance!

Day 6: Launch Day Prep

Final Checks

Double-check everything. Your e-book, your landing page, your email sequences—make sure it’s all perfect.

Promote, Promote, Promote

Get the word out! Use your social media platforms, email list, and any other channels you have to build buzz. Share sneak peeks, testimonials, and behind-the-scenes content to hype up your audience.

Day 7: Launch and Celebrate!
